Tips for good health: I am skinny guy age 25 male. My weight is 57 height 183cm i always stays unhealthy. How can i grow healthy?

Tips for good health 

A person is said to be underweight if he or she is 15 to 20% below the accepted weight standards. It could be a symptom of any disease and can lead to loss of energy, susceptibility to infection, distorted image and various problems. The main aim should be to maintain an ideal body weight, improve the food habits and maintain a healthy living.

A careful diet history is essential to check if any inadequacies are present in your food habits and food intakes. Maintain a timetable especially for food habits. Keep a schedule, avoid hasty planning. Meal time should be relaxed and peaceful. Avoid monotonous diet, bring variety in foods in terms of color, taste and flavour.The food intake needs to be increased gradually to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort or any other imbalances. Do not skip a meal or avoid food for a long duration of time.

Select foods that are high in calorie density. Dry cereals, whole milk, yoghurt, nuts, juices are advisable. Having a heavy breakfast is important. Do not stress on one type of food. Have all types of foods so that the body can receive the required nutrients. Fruits, vegetables, custards and puddings, cakes and pastries are helpful. Do have eggs, chicken and meat if you are a nonvegeteranian. Improve your activity level. Regular exercise is essential so that you may feel hungry after the activity. Have a good night sleep. Keep a gap of two hours for eating.

In case the weight loss is due to certain illness, then it requires treatment and medication. Psychological counseling can also be helpful in improving the weight.
