Fruit Fast Diet Advice

Fruit fast is used as a quick method for weight loss especially by those who want to eat healthy diet and lose weight. Fruits provide all the necessary nutrients with low calories and negligible amount of fat. Fruits and fruit juices are also used as a mode to restore the digestive tract or as a part of detoxification process. Fruits and fruit juices are one of the easiest solids to digest and thus provide enough rest to the stomach and the intestines. Fruits and fruit juices will provide you great amounts of vitamins and minerals required for the body to function well.

Fresh fruits are loaded with vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, sodium, potassium, magnesium, manganese and molybdenum. Most of the fruits are however not a good source of iron, calcium or copper. So if your multivitamin supplements are based on these then you need to check that out. You have not mentioned which multivitamin supplements you are on, neither have you mentioned any composition. Are these multivitamin tablets you are taking due to some nutritional deficiency or just to supplement a diet. If the later part is true then you can avoid these supplements for a couple of days but if you have certain multivitamin deficiency then it would be wise to talk to your specialist before stopping any supplement recommended by him/her.

Minerals in liquid form might be provided. Vitamins and minerals are better to be used in addition to food. Supplemental fibre, such as psyllium is recommended, as it helps in detoxification process. Fasting is not adviced in patients, such as diabetics, cardiac patients, pregnant women and so on.
