Diet to Gain Weight

It is nice to know that you want to have an insight in the foods in your diet. Much cannot be done, due to insufficient information regarding your height, weight, gender, activity pattern and diet schedule. Certain guidelines for general weight gain are given below. Eat the right kind of foods. More calories in the diet is the best way to gain weight and this is done by choosing the right kind of foods.

Eating smaller meals, around 4 to 5 per day is also helpful, provided you are comfortable with the same. Foods high in simple carbohydrates or starch prove beneficial. Tubers, such as potatoes, yam and tapioca and cereals are starchy vegetables.

Activity also determines your appetite. Increased activity helps in increasing appetite, thereby aiding in weight gain. Muscle mass is opted for healthy weight gain. Dumb bells are the easiest to be performed at home level. Creatine supplements provide additional weight. The kind of weight gain is not clear. It is recommended, under the guidance of a physician. Consistency in efforts is helpful, as weight gain takes a few months to show up. Genes predetermine your weight, though a strict adherence to diet and workouts prove effective in surpassing the same.
