Tuberculosis Diet plan

Hi! I have not come across any relationship between tuberculosis and mint. Treatment of tuberculosis includes a strict dietary pattern and lifestyle modification with rest. It is easy to tackle tuberculosis in the early stages. A fruit diet is recommended in the initial three days. They provide the essential nutrients and antioxidants. Fruits such as pears, melons, cantaloupes, apples, peaches and oranges are recommended.

Steamed vegetables with chapattis can be a part of a meal. Cooked apple is helpful as a part of the dessert. Calcium is vital in the treatment of tuberculosis. Milk is a part of every meal. About two pints of milk are recommended on a daily basis. Spices and condiments, caffeinated beverages, refined cereals, refined sugars and processed and preserved foods are completely abstained from. Lifestyle modification includes a stress free life.

Avoid drinking and smoking. Light type of exercises and alternate therapies like yoga proves beneficial for recovery from tuberculosis. A dip in a neutral immersion bath is advised, prior to bed. This is done for an hour. A proper sleep without worries hastens recovery. Animal foods are avoided, as simple and easy to digest foods are recommended. A soft, bland diet is effective.
