Certain general guidelines are listed down. Any recipe of your choice can be made into a weight loss recipe. Fruits and vegetables in any recipe provide the necessary phyto nutrients and antioxidants.

Salads are one of the best part of your daily meals. They are filled with nutrient packed resources. Salad dressings are avoided and replaced by lemon juice, vinegar and olive oil mix. A simple baked bread crouton also proves beneficial. Avoid corn flour while making gravies, as they increase the calories. Use onion and tomato pastes to increase the thickness of gravies. Use non stick cookware, as it prevents the usage of oil or fat. Oil sprays are good alternatives, in case of necessary fat.

A fruit with every meal calls for reduced caloric intake. Include one vegetable and a green leafy vegetable in your every day diet. Clear soups are helpful with more vegetables in them. Desserts are dense and fruit salads prove beneficial, devoid of the cream. Ice creams, soufflés and pastries are completely abstained from. Fat free foods available commercially are useful. Food labels are useful in identifying such foods.
