Diabetes Diet Recipes 

Modification in the diet of the individual suffering from diabetes can make the food boring and unpalatable. Variety is required so that person can look forward to eating food. It is helpful if recipe is available which will make the cooking interesting. However the recipes should be selected taking into the consideration the calorie, fat, carbohydrate and protein content of the food.

Red Curry with vegetables: It is a low caloric, high fiber, low cholesterol and high calcium food. It consists of Tofu, vegetable broth, canola oil with beans and Thai curry paste made up of peppers, garlic, galanga.

Creamy Cauliflower puree: It is a low fat, healthy heart diet. It is a savory side dish consisting of steamed cauliflower florets mixed with buttermilk powder.

Red and white salads: It is sweet, bitter and hot food consisting of wintery fruits and vegetables. It is a low caloric, low fat and low carbohydrate food.

Blue berries with lemon cream: It is a mixture of vanilla yoghurt and reduced fat cheese cream cheese with addition of berries. It is a low fat, low sodium food.
