Diabetes Diet Menu

A diabetes diet is such that an individual may have to abstain from certain foods that he likes as it may be highly caloric and may contain high amount of simple sugar. A menu may be planned for them which is not rigid and taking care of the individual preferences, cooking patterns and family habits. A menu helps in making a right amount of food to be consumed according to the weight and height of the individual. Thus a realistic picture is achieved without leading to under weight or overweight in the individual. It also gives us an idea showing at what time what food should be consumed and at what amounts.

A diet menu helps in gaining a sense of control and discipline in an individual suffering from diabetes.
